At the time of his death back in July, you may have been far removed from the notion that Michael Jackson was a pretty great entertainer. It had been eight years since his last album and nearly two decades since he was at the forefront of the mainstream music landscape. With all that had been made of his life outside of the music realm, those reminders that he could still entertain with singing and dancing were almost like a gift to fans. So, there was a natural buzz when it was learned that
Sadly, that never came to pass. But good news for fans came in the form of an announcement that the footage from the rehearsals and planning process would be used for a documentary movie to be briefly shown in theaters around the world. And today is the opening for that documentary.
