While I continue doing volunteer media work for the EarthKeepers, Zaagkii Project, Turtle island Project and others, I am now the volunteer media advisor for the Navajo Lutheran Mission in Rock Point, AZ and Celtic Christianity Today based in the Chesterton/Valparaiso, Indiana area. The founders of the Turtle island Project, Rev. Dr. Lynn Hubbard and Rev. Dr. George Cairns, are leading these efforts, respectively. Rev. Hubbard has instituted a "mission in reverse" that promotes respect for the Navajo/Native American heritage and culture while keeping the mission's original goals. Rev. Hubbard believes Christians should respect that the divine power (God) appeared in various ways before the Indian tribes long ago, and not just to non-natives. Meanwhile, Rev. Cairns believes the world faces a "Kyros Moment" - meaning we had better starting respecting the planet, repairing the damage we humans have inflicted and aid in its healing - or face the consequences. Remember while humans are causing species extinction - remember we are not immune to having our own species wiped out, Cairns says. Be kind to others and the planet, be fair, honest, pray for others and not yourself and have pure motives, loving heart and your life will provide its own rewards. Ignore people who cause you pain or ill-will - totally and completely erase them from your mind - and feel sorry for these pests - because their tiny lives are so horrible they have to spread it to others, ignore everything they say or do and answer their bad vibes with good energy. They can only bug and hurt you if you let them. Mr. James Brown - the late great Godfather of Soul - told (and taught) me that you can best battle negative and awful people with positive actions and comments. Quotes to live by from Richard Bach 1977 book "Illusions - The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah" "True family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life. Rarely do members of one family grow up under the same roof." "Your only obligation in any lifetime is to be true to yourself. Being true to anyone else or anything else is not only impossible, but the mark of a false messiah."
